 Tristam Speaker played Major League Baseball for 21 years. He threw left handed after he broke his arm as a child. He signed with the Red Sox. He got the starting center field job in 1909. When the Sox signed Duffy Lewis, he, Speaker and Harry Hooper were dubbed the 'Million-dollar Outfield'.

 The Red Sox one the World Series in 1915. After, Speaker was traded to the Cleveland Indians. While at the Indians Speaker became an assistant manager to the team. Speaker is fifth on the all time hits list. He is behind Pete Rose, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron and Stan Musial.
