Joe Morgan Vintage Baseball Bats

Joe Morgan Baseball Bats

Newer fans will recognize Joe Morgan from his ESPN gig. But he is actually a Hall of Fame second baseman. He was born in 1943 in Texas. He signed with the Houston Colt .45's in 1962. In 1971 Houston traded Morgan to the Cincinnati Reds. Morgan would join up with Pete Rose at the Reds. The two ended up batting back to back.

Joe settled comfortably in to Reds team. He went to 8 consecutive all star games. The Reds also went to back to back Championships. To add to the accolades he also won the NL MVP award twice in a row. He got into broadcast in Cincinnati. He took off to announce for the Giants for nine years. He then traveled to the A's to broadcast for them. Now he is working as the main broadcasting team for ESPN.
