George Brett Vintage Baseball Bats
George Brett played for the Kansas City Royals for 20 seasons. He made his MLB debut in 1973. In 1975 Brett won his first batting title. In the next three years the Royals would do battle with the Yankees for the AL pennant. Finally in 1980 Brett won the AL MVP award. That same season they would again meet the Yankees in the ALCS. This time the Royals won the pennant. They would eventually lose to the Phillies in six games.
In 1983 The Pine Tar Incident happened. The famous bat used in the incident is on display at the Baseball hall of fame. In 1985 the Royals again won the pennant. They would go on the win the World Series against the cardinals. The Royals retired his number in 1998.
