1930's Baseball Bats

1930s Baseball Bats

In the 1930's the Great Depression impacted the economy, but it didn't seem to impact the enthusiasm of baseball fans. Victory parades for winning teams were well attended by supportive fans. By the time the 1930's season rolled around, baseball bats had progressed to the point where players were able to set impressive records time and time again.

Today baseball fans remain enthusiastic as ever. Antique 1930's baseball bats in great condition fetch terrific prices when they become available for sale. Considering the age of the bats, there are a surprising number of excellent condition 1930's baseball bats for sale at any given time.

In 1936 Joe DiMaggio began his baseball career. If you are diligent and a bit lucky you can find 1930's bats that Joe used. You can also find vintage World Series bats from the 1930's. Another great collector's items are bats from all star games during the 1930's.

Champion and Spalding also made bats during this era. Any one of these bats would be worth money. You can find bats from the 1930's that are still in good condition. Hanna manufacturing company also made baseball bats. Unlike Spalding and the Louisville slugger, these are no longer being made. They would make a great addition to your bat collection.
