1900's Baseball Bats
A vintage autographed bat doesn't necessarily mean a player actually signed it by hand. In the early 1900's legendary baseball player Honus Wagner became the first baseball player to be paid for the rights to have his autograph burned into the increasingly popular Louisville Slugger bats. This was one of the earliest examples of a sports celebrity endorsement.
Whether a signature from a famous player was burned into a vintage 1900's bat or hand written, it is still a hot collectible for avid baseball fans. Vintage baseball bats from the 1900's in mint or good condition sell well enough with no autograph, but they sell at better prices if it features an autograph by a well known player.
